The G20 summit begins its work on Bali Island, Indonesia

The G20 summit began today, Tuesday, its work in the Nusa Dua Resort on the island of Bali, Indonesia, where leaders will discuss the most prominent challenges in the world.
The Indonesian President, Goku Widodo, opened the summit, and said in the first session: “It is an ideal partnership that Indonesia hosts the top of the twentieth, and I realize that we need huge activities so that we can sit together in the hall.


In his opening speech, the Indonesian President stressed the necessity of “ending the war” for future generations.
He added: “The responsibility that our responsibility is not only towards our peoples, but also towards the peoples of the whole world. Responsibility in this position . . . also means that we must end the war,” without the Indonesian president indicating any war specifically.

The Indonesian President, Goku Widodo, met personally with the heads of the delegations of the countries participating at the G20 summit.
The summit is expected to focus today on food security in the world, as well as energy security.
The first session of the summit is important, especially for Russia, one of the largest producers and exporters of food and energy in the world.

It should be noted that the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, heads his country’s delegation at the G20 summit..
