Russian President Vladimir Putin said that destabilizing states and peoples begin to distort history and blur traditional values.
The Russian president added in a statement today, Tuesday, that “distorting history, spreading myths, and obliterating values, often, is the beginning of the destruction of states and peoples in particular through these myths,” according to Russia today.
He explained that “such a scenario, as we see, was already tested in some countries, including Ukraine, and in a number of other countries,” adding that there were attempts to do the same with Russia.
The Russian President indicated that it was recently approved on the foundations of the state’s policy to preserve and strengthen traditional values, stressing that “it includes historical memory.
”
“The attempts of a number of countries rewriting the history of the world have become more aggressive, and their goal is to weaken Russia,” Putin said..
