Abdi denied, on Monday, his forces were involved in the attack, saying: “We confirm that our forces have nothing to do with the Istanbul bombing, and we reject the allegations that accuse our forces.


Ankara has classified the Kurdish People’s Protection Units, a “terrorist” organization and is an extension of the PKK, which has been waging a rebellion against it for decades.
Turkey, the European Union and the United States consider the PKK a terrorist organization.
