The new investments came by 8 investment entities from 7 different countries.
The authority stated that the total cumulative direct investment in Kuwait has increased to 1. 3 billion dinars (3. 9 billion dollars) for the period between January 2015 until the end of March 2022.
The authority said in a press statement, Monday, that most of these investments are concentrated in the services sector, foremost of which are information systems, oil, gas, construction, health, environment, aviation, and insurance services.
The authority explained that these cumulative investments came by 67 investment entities belonging to 25 different countries, noting that the spending of the licensed investment entities, which began operating its business in the Kuwaiti economy, has risen at a rate of 30. 2 percent, and a total of 690. 5 million dinars (2. 1 is 2. 1 One billion dollars) during the period between 2015 and 2020, according to the official Kuwaiti News Agency.
