After the Istanbul bombing … canceling a football match in the Turkish League

The Turkish Football Federation announced the postponement of the Besiktas and Antalia Spur match, after the bombing that affected Istanbul on Sunday and killed 6 people.
The Turkish Federation said in a statement on Sunday evening: “After the explosion that occurred on Istiklal Street, the Federation’s Board of Directors postponed a match in the Bishiktas, and Frabport Taf Antalia Sport, which was scheduled to be held in Vodafone Park at 8:00 pm tonight.


The fans were already entering the stadium the moment the explosion occurred, and the players of both teams were inside the Vodafone Stadium. After publishing the local federation statement, the organizers asked everyone to leave the place.
6 people were killed, while 82 others were injured as a result of the explosion that occurred on Sunday and the famous shopping street in Istanbul.
