Five ISIS operatives were killed during an operation targeting their hideout in Kabul last night, according to the General Directorate of Taliban Intelligence.
In the context, a statement issued by the Ministry of Defense stated that six ISIS militants were arrested in the eastern Nangarhar region.
“On the authority of a communication, members of the Corps of Khalid bin Al -Walid 201, a hideout in ISIS in the Nangarhar region, and arrested six ISIS fighters,” the statement added.
The statement said that a number of weapons and ammunition, including AK-47 offensive guns, were also found in the detained militants, without mentioning the exact date and location of the operation.
The group’s statement also called on the Afghan people not to allow any of the terrorists suspected to create problems in the law and order of society.
