Zellinski: The situation in Donetsk is similar to “hell”

The ongoing battles with Russian forces led Ukrainian President Vladimir Zellinski to refer to the situation in the Donetsk region as “hell.”
Zelinski said, in a visual message via the Telegram application on Saturday, that the Ukrainian forces had entered the city of Jupson (after Russia announced the completion of its withdrawal).

He emphasised that the police had started to take security measures and that the Ukrainian Defense Forces had expanded their control over more than 60 residential areas in Khaisson.
On Friday, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the completion of the withdrawal of its forces from the West Bank of the Dnibro River, which divides the Ukrainian province of Jiusson.

Zelinski emphasised that the conflict was still going on in his nation and that the fiercest fighting was happening in the front-line Donetsk region.
He considered that the situation in Donetsk is similar to “hell” in every sense of the word, and that every day the region witnesses very fierce battles with the Russians.

In the face of opposition and condemnation from the West, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a document on September 30 adding the regions of Donetsk, Khairuson, Logansk, and Zabarujia to Russia.
Russia dominated the four regions after a military attack launched by its army on February 24, and Moscow requires to end its operation to commit Kyiv’s neutrality and abandoning plans to join military entities, which is what the latter promises to “interfere” in its sovereignty..

Zellinski: Donetsk is in a situation akin to “hell.”
