Washington: The world must unite to address the deterioration of human rights in Iran

Today, Saturday, Michel Taylor, the American representative to the UN Human Rights Council, said that the international community should come together to address the deterioration of the human rights situation in Iran, particularly for women, girls, and children.
Taylor praised her Twitter account in Germany and Iceland for inviting them to hold a special session of the Human Rights Council in this regard.

Robert Mali, the US’s special envoy to Iran, stated earlier today that his nation supports Germany and Iceland’s proposal to draw attention to Iran’s “violent repression” of peaceful protesters.
On Friday, Germany and Iceland demanded a special session of the United Nations Human Rights Council to discuss the human rights situation in Iran.

While Amnesty International claimed in a report released last Thursday that it had evidence of at least 100 deaths in Sistan and Baluchistan since September 30 at the hands of Iranian security forces, including 16 children.
Iran has been witnessing protests in separate areas since last September, amid charges of the police of killing the young woman, Muhsa Amini, after being arrested on the pretext of wearing a “inappropriate” veil.

However, the Iranian authorities deny that Amini was beaten by the police.
In addition, the Human Rights Organization in NGO, which is based in Oslo, confirmed that at least 326 people have died in the effort to put an end to the protests that Iran has been witnessing since September.

According to a statement on its website, Iran’s Human Rights Organization, “at least 326 people, including 43 children and 25 women, were killed by security forces during demonstrations across the country.”
The outcome of this organization includes the dead in Sistan Baluchistan Governorate (southeast), which is adjacent to Pakistan, who are not less than 123 people, according to its numbers..
