Neymar: The World Cup in Qatar may be my last

Neymar da Silva, the French star of Paris Saint -Germain, hinted that the World Cup in Qatar may witness his recent participation with the Brazilian national team in the World Cup.
Neymar will compete in his third World Cup, in Qatar, as Brazil looks to win its first championship in the tournament’s 20-year history.

Neymar will be 34 years old by the 2026 World Cup, and given the hazy outlook regarding the likelihood of his participation in that edition, he is looking forward to helping his nation win the gold medal in Qatar.
“I will play as if it is my last participation, I spoke to my father, we are always talking, I will play every match as if it is the last because you do not know what will happen tomorrow,” Neymar told the Globo TV station today.

“I can’t emphasise how I took part in a different World Cup. I honestly don’t know, but I’ll play as if it’s my final performance,” he continued.
There will be a change in the technical staff (when coach Titi leaves his position after the World Cup), and I’m not sure if I’ll respect the new coach. “Maybe I participate in another version, perhaps not. It depends (on several factors).

“”I have a long history with the national team, and I definitely want to end my career well,” he said.
“I’m content, I always enjoy playing football and winning, I strive to get better every day, I want to support my teammates, which is the most important thing, and I hope my name will go down in football history.

“Although many people do not believe in us, we will prove the opposite. I see that the team has a lot of good things, and I see that we can go far,” Neymar said in reference to Brazil’s chances of winning the World Cup.
