India seeks an agreement in the 27 cup to get rid of all fossil fuels

The countries agreed in a cup 26 in Glasgow, Scotland last November, on a final statement that was required for the first time the parties at the United Nations Climate Summit to accelerate efforts towards “the gradual reduction in the energy derived from coal without stopping” targeting the most fossil fuel -polluting types of the environment.
If their identities are kept a secret, two reliable sources told Reuters that India wants to extend this pledge to cover all fossil fuels.

A spokesperson for the Indian delegation responded, “We did not mention coal at all,” when questioned in cup 27 about whether this was India’s position.
The spokesman said that India indicated a report issued by the United Nations Climate Science Committee, which he said should reduce emissions to half by 2030 to achieve climate goals and that this would require a significant reduction in the use of fossil fuels..

India wants to reach a deal at the 27 Cup to stop using all fossil fuels.
