German counselor Olaf Schultz said today, Saturday, that the sanctions are considered one of the means to “increase pressure” on Iran, according to Sky News Arabia.
As a result of the girl, Muhsa Amini, passing away while being held by the police, protests broke out in Iran, according to the authorities.
Following the ethics police officers’ arrest in Tehran last week, which led to protests there as well as in the Kurdistan region where the deceased girl was from and other places, Muhsa Amini, 22, passed away after going into a coma.
The sanctions are one of the ways to “increase pressure” on Iran, according to the German chancellor.
