For its first session, the Modern Arab Foundation published an Egyptian pocket novel, along with a scenario competition. One of the requirements for the scenario competition was the selection of an idea from among the treasures of Egyptian novels for the pocket, along with the episodes, a written character profile, and participation in the competition with two full episodes.
The Foundation held its first competition in five categories, including fiction, nonfiction, comics, children’s literature, scenario, and dialogue. The door of progress is open from November 1 to December 31 of 2022, and the results are announced on the International Book Day, April 23 of 2023.
As for the competition prizes in all groups, the first place will take place: 25 thousand Egyptian pounds, the second place: 15 thousand Egyptian pounds, and the third place: 10 thousand Egyptian pounds, in addition to publishing the winning works and putting them within the map of the publication of the modern Arab Foundation. Egyptian novels are sent to participants in electronic form via email.
