Wall Street closes high as investors aspire to the results of the US Congress elections

Wall Street closed on Tuesday, coinciding with the vote in the midterm elections that will determine the control of the US Congress, as investors are betting on political stalemate that may prevent major changes in politics.
The American stock market has now experienced gains for three days running, bringing the Dow Jones Industrial Index’s losses for the year to less than 10%.

Investors are also waiting for the main inflation data to be issued on Thursday, which is expected to show a decrease in consumer prices and provide more evidence on whether the American Federal Reserve Council can reduce its campaign of sharp increases in interest rates.
According to preliminary data, the Nasdaq Composite index rose 51. 85 points, or 0. 49 percent, to 10616. 37 points, while the Standard & Poor’s 500 index increased by 22. 06 points, or 0. 58 percent, to close at 3828. 86 points.

The Dow Jones Industrial Index increased 33167.27 points, or 340.27 points, or 1.04 percent.

As investors wait for the results of the US Congress elections, Wall Street closes strongly.
