The United States and Ghana are discussing efforts to combat terrorism across Africa

The ongoing efforts to stop the spread of terrorism across Africa have been discussed between the US and Ghana.
The White House said – in a press release on its website today, Saturday – that the discussions came during a meeting of the White House Internal Security Adviser Liz Sherwood Randal and President of Ghana Nana Adu Dankua Akovo Ado at the United Nations.

According to the statement, the two sides welcomed the chance to continue discussions on strengthening the bilateral partnership at the US and African leaders’ summit, which will begin in Washington, DC, in December.
