The National Institute of Public Health and Environment in the Netherlands announced today, Tuesday, that it appears that the wave of injuries to the Corona virus that has swept the Netherlands in recent weeks has exceeded its peak.
Health officials in the nation reported that 7,719 new injuries were reported in the last seven days, a 37% decrease from the seven days prior.
However, it is assumed that the actual number is much higher because home tests are not registered with the authorities.
But officials also made it clear that in the areas of research and other tests, they noticed a decline in the virus. For example, sampling tests from sewage systems have shown a decrease in virus infection.
Additionally, there are fewer Kovid – 19 patients in hospitals.
The Netherlands reports signs that the autumn wave of the Corona virus is coming to an end.
