A 5 -storey drug collapsed in Giza Governorate, south of Cairo, which resulted in casualties and injured.
The collapse of a building in the “Izbat Al-Sa’idah” neighbourhood of Imbaba, south of Giza, was reported to the Egyptian authorities, and right away ambulances and rescue teams were dispatched to recover the victims and the injured, and the civil protection forces moved to clear the rubble and debris.
The scene was placed under a security cordon by the authorities, and the Giza Governorate made the decision to create an engineering committee to investigate the causes of the building’s collapse and the safety of the nearby properties.
