In Giza Governorate, south of Cairo, a five-story building collapsed, leaving dead and injured.
The Egyptian authorities received a notification of the collapse of a property in the “Izbat Al -Sa’idah” area in Imbaba, south of Giza, and immediately ambulances and rescue teams were pushed to recover the victims and the injured, and the civil protection forces moved to remove the rubble and debris.
The scene was placed under a security cordon by the authorities, and the Giza Governorate made the decision to create an engineering committee to investigate the causes of the building’s collapse and the safety of the nearby properties.
