News from Al-Madinah: While continuing their search for additional neighbourhoods buried beneath the rubble, rescue workers in Egypt were able to recover three bodies on Tuesday after a 4-story building collapsed in the Imbaba neighbourhood of Giza.
In order to avoid confusion with the ongoing rescue efforts, the police reportedly forbade onlookers from approaching the collapse site.
In the meantime, two individuals who were close to the building were hurt when Ali Bassiouni Street collapsed.
The north of the island’s collapsed building, which was reduced to a pile of rubble, was depicted in Egyptian media.
In the past, there have been a number of residential building collapses in Egypt, which prompted the government to start a campaign against those who violate housing laws.
