The agency reported that, despite the European ban, the volume of oil shipping from Russia increased last week to a record in five months. She pointed out that Russia is now exporting 3. 6 million barrels of oil per day, which is the most since the beginning of June 2022.
The agency added that because tankers take longer to reach their destinations in Asia than ports in the Baltic Sea or the Black Sea, the largest growth in export operations was seen in terms of size and percentage from the Russian port of Mormansk.
