Remembrance Day 2022: Global BC Special Broadcast ‘Remembers’

On Friday, thousands of people are expected to attend a Remembrance Day ceremony in downtown Vancouver to pay their respects.
B.C. Remembers, a special broadcast from Global BC, will begin airing at 10:30 a.m. PT on Global BC and BC1.

The Remembrance Day Service, Held at Victory Square, Is The Oldest Continue and Annual Ceremony In Vancouver, According to the City.
It was first held in 1924, and the Vancouver Remembrance Day Committee organised it as a civic volunteer group.

The Solemn Ceremony Includes The Last Post, The Lord, The Fly-Past, The Change of the Guard, The Wreath-Laying, The Parade of Veterans, Military Units, Cadets, Police, Brass Bands, and Pipes and Drums, and Is Befitting For the Many Tearful Private Moments of Remembrance.
According to the city, the ceremony is attended by more than 15,000 participants and citizens each year.
Ceremonies for Remembrance Day will be held across the province in conjunction with the event in Downtown Vancouver.
