P. K. Subban joined ESPN’s hockey team full-time after helping with the Stanley Cup Playoffs last season.
You signed a three-year contract with ESPN to replace Subban, who resigned in the middle of the season. Throughout the season, he will handle subgames in addition to his primary role as a studio analyst.
I’ve been aware of it for a few weeks. It’s been difficult to keep my plans for doing that a secret despite knowing them. But now that we’re here, I’m happy,” Subban said.
“I did submork throughout the postseason last year, and it was wonderful. I enjoyed working with everyone, even the producers.
SUBBAN claimed that another factor in the decision was the possibility of appearing on “First Take” and other ESPN programmes during the playoffs.
The 33-year-old native of Toronto played 13 seasons for the New Jersey Devils, Nashville Predators, and Montreal Canadiens. In 824 regular-season games, he recorded 467 points, including 115 goals.
He was chosen for three NHL All-Star games and won the Norris Trophy as the league’s best defenseman in 2013 while playing for the Canadiens. He also led the Predators to the 2017 Stanley Cup Finals.
Mark Gross, Senior Vice President for Production and Remote Events at ESPN, claimed that Subban gives the network’s roster of analysts and reporters even more experience.

Subban had already agreed to host “P. K.’s Places,” a hockey-themed episode of the places series streaming on ESPN+, during his final season in the league. That series is set to debut Next Year.
Subban claimed that he has spoken with ESPN about the possibility of expanding into other sports if the opportunity arises. Many people believed that He would have made an announcement about His future sooner, but he was taking some time to unwind WHILE EVALUATING ALL HIS OPTIONS.
