Pivot Airlines Crew Detained In Dominican Republic for 220 Days ‘Will Soon Return Home’: CEO

According to Global News, a Canadian flight crew who has been detained in the Dominican Republic for more than 200 days is soon expected to return home.
Early in April, local authorities detained the Pivot Airlines flight crew after reports that drugs had been discovered at the Punta Cana International Airport. However, The Mississauga, Ont. -Based Airline Has Said The Crew Themselves were the oons who reported suspected drarugs on board their aircraft.

However, the Pivot Airlines crew was detained after they raised their concerns with local authorities, and they have remained in the nation ever since.
According to a statement from Pivot Airlines CEO Eric Edmondson, paperwork was filed earlier today to release the five Pivot crew members who have been detained in the Dominican Republic for 220 days after reporting suspected contraband on an aircraft.
