One Dead, 4 in Following Crash South of Brantford Hospital, Ont.: OPP

According to the Provincial Police (OPP), a two-vehicle collision south of Brantford, Ontario, on Thursday resulted in one person dying and four others, including a child, being hospitalized.
Officers, firefighters, and paramedics responded to a crash on Highway 24 just northwest of Waterford in Norfolk County at around 1:40 p.m., according to the OPP.
Police Say, “It was determined that to sports utility vehicle and by motor vehicle collid at the intersection of highway 24 and concession 7 of Towsend.

According to the police, a child and two adults from the SUV were taken to the hospital after the crash with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
While the driver of the other vehicle sustained serious, life-threatening injuries and was declared dead at the scene, a passenger from that vehicle was airlifted to a hospital in Hamilton to receive treatment.
The Identity of the Decased Is Being Withheld Pending Notification of Next of Kin and Opp are investigating.
