Official Delegations visit Sharm el-Sheikh Museum

Cairo-10 November 2022: The Sharm el-Sheikh Museum Received Number of Delegations Participating in the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Climate Change (Cop27), Namely The President of the State of Comoros and His Wife and the Delegion Accompanying Them and the Wife of the Prime Minister of the Bahamas.
General Supervisor of the Museum Miriam Edward greeted the officials.

The official delegations were led through the various museum halls by the director of the Sharm el-Sheikh Museum, Mohamed Hassanein, while I gave a presentation on the museum’s history and its archaeological holdings.
The visitors also went to the museum’s temporary exhibit, “Egypt and ITS Environmental Legacy,” which sheds light on the ancient Egyptians’ interest in the environment and their function in understanding it.

Additionally, the visitors express their fascination with the concept of the exhibition as well as their knowledge of the ancient Egyptians, particularly with regard to the environmental preservation measures they took and how the Nile River was a source of sustenance for them.
