Nafidia produces slower chips to export to China away from US sanctions

An electronic chips production company Nafidia announced a “alternative production” for its Chinese customers, noting that it does not contradict American laws that impose restrictions on exporting advanced technology to China.
Two different types of cutting-edge chips that Nafidia produced cannot be exported to China for two months, despite China being the company’s second-largest market.

The company’s new chips would have circumvented the American ban by slowing down for the Chinese market.
For customers in China, Nafidia said the Nafidia A800 fee unit is an alternative product to the Nafidia A100 unit.
A company spokesman said that “A 800 meets the clear test of the US government to reduce exports and cannot be programmed to overcome the established restrictions,” a company spokesman said..

In order to avoid US sanctions, Nafidia produces slower chips for export to China.
