The Houthi militia attacked the city of Marib in northeastern Yemen on Monday evening, killing four displaced people, including two children, and injuring 23 others, some of whom suffered serious injuries. This was reported on Tuesday by the executive unit of the administration of the displaced camps.
The executive unit (governmental) added in its initial report that “the Houthi militia yesterday targeted the city of Marib, including camps with ballistic missiles and drones caused the killing of 4 civilians and the injury of 23 others, 5 of them were seriously injured. ”
According to her, “tackling resulted in damage to 13 houses for displaced families, the burning of 3 tents, and the destruction of 53 water tanks by rocket fragments near the homes of displaced families.
” The unit pointed to “the state of fear and panic that prevailed among the displaced people, especially women, children and the elderly,” asking the United Nations and the international community to pressure the militia to stop its attacks on camps and population gatherings and adhere to international and humanitarian laws.
Additionally, it requested that the international organizations’ coordinator for humanitarian affairs visit the camps and speak with the victims.
