Reports: Elon Musk, crowds the richest man in Britain to buy Liverpool

Press reports state that the English owners of the English professional in his ranks, the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, made a purchase offer in the past few hours after learning of the club’s willingness to sell.

According to today’s report in the British newspaper The Sun, “The Vinway Sports Group, which owns the club, has put the Liverpool Club up for sale, and it has added that there are four candidate names who are able to bear the costs of owning the Liverpool Club, after they previously expressed interest in purchasing the team that competes fiercely for the English Premier League championship.”

Elon Musk, the current owner of the social networking site Twitter, is one of the most prominent candidates for the purchase of Liverpool, according to the newspaper “The Sun,” and has dropped from the list after declaring his interest in purchasing Manchester United recently. Musk has an estimated net worth of 175 billion euros.

The legendary basketball player Liberation James was also included in the article as one among the nominees, however it was revealed that he has held shares of the Reds valued at 2% since 2011.
The name of Sir Jim Ratcliffe, like the fourth names nominated for the purchase of Liverpool, also appeared in the report, because he is the richest man in Britain, where his wealth is estimated at 15 billion pounds.

The publication also reported that Pele was one of the American businessmen suggested for buying Liverpool. Pele owns 11% of the Vinway Group, which owns Liverpool, making him the most likely choice to purchase the Reds’ offered share of the sale.
