Prime Minister of Palestine: We are ready to participate in any regional solutions to confront climate changes

Palestinian Prime Minister Mohamed Ashtia emphasised his nation’s readiness to take part in any solutions outlined by the regional action plan to combat climate change today, Tuesday. He also emphasised the need for a qualitative shift in people’s, societies’, and industrial organisations’ behaviour to stop the activities that harm the environment.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi participated in the summit of the heads of the Climate Work Coordination Initiative in the Middle East and the East Mediterranean, and during his speech, he expressed his deep appreciation for Egypt’s tremendous effort in organising this significant international event. He also noted that Palestine was not the only country affected by climate change.

He continued, emphasising the necessity to concentrate all cooperation efforts between the eastern Mediterranean countries to combat climate change: “We in Palestine do not produce climate change, but we are affected by it since we are part of the region.
