Former Zamalek player Ahmed Hossam Mido counselled Mohamed Salah of Liverpool as he drew for the Champions League final matchup against Real Madrid.
In the most recent Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid, which was won by the Madrid team, Salah, who had previously said he wanted to exact revenge on the Madrid team for the defeat in the 2018 edition final, created intense controversy.
In broadcast statements on the “Al -Mehwar” channel, Mido stated that “Salah must understand what transpired last season.”
Salah paid the price for his comments about getting even last season, putting his team under a lot of strain, and the Liverpool players themselves questioned Salah’s comments.
“Salah is obliged to be silent and not to engage in conversations about facing Real Madrid in the past, with a focus on reality,” he said in conclusion.
The Champions League final result saw Liverpool’s draw go against them; the first leg will take place at Anfield on February 21 and the return match will be on March 15 at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
