On the grounds of the Opera House, the Egyptian Plastic Syndicate is hosting an exhibition named “Kuwait in the heart of Cairo.”
Next Thursday at 6 o’clock, the exhibition will open in the round hall of the Plastic Syndicate, and the opening ceremony will also feature an artistic performance in the union plaza by the Jahra Folklore Ensemble that will feature dances from the Gulf folklore.
The captain of the Egyptian plastic artists, Dr. Safia Al-Qabbani, is there when this occurs.
Nabil Al-Felkawi, the head of the Syndicate of Artists and Media in Kuwait, as well as a number of persons serving in the diplomatic corps in Arab nations, as well as a sizable number of intellectuals and plastic artists in the two nations.
The exhibition includes works by more than 40 Kuwaiti plastic artists, each of whom expresses a state of association in Egypt and the memories of days spent in their rehabes and among its people. It also adds a touch of loyalty and gratitude to Cairo, which welcomed thousands of Kuwaiti students in various fields of science and knowledge. The exhibition is part of the activities of a week of Kuwaiti culture in Cairo, which runs from November 9 to November 15.
