According to the British daily “Express,” the British Ministry of Defense has revealed that a submarine carrying Terident 2 nuclear weapons forced its covert mission and surfaced following an internal fire.
The publication claimed that the submarine’s appearance on the surface posed a risk of disclosing its location to Russia, noting that the crew of the submarine worked to put out the fire.
One of the four Terident submarines that conduct nuclear patrols, or “nuclear deterrence at sea continuously,” is the “Victoris.”
