Xavi comments on Manchester United in the European League

On Monday, Barcelona’s head coach Xavi Hernandez made some remarks on the impending matchup with Manchester United in order to be qualified for the competition’s final round of the European League.
Barcelona fell to the European League competition, after it ranked third in the third group in the Champions League, as Bayern Munich and Inter qualified for the next round, while Victoria Plzen bid farewell to the continental competitions.

Xavi spoke about the Urbaleg draw during the news conference that precedes the La Liga match between Barcelona and Osasuna, saying: “The worst opponent we can encounter in the European League is Manchester United. Since Eric Tin Hag joined the team, the group has greatly improved.”
The Barcelona coach continued, “We will attempt to defeat Manchester United to win the European League, the championship that Barcelona has never attained.

We will strive to compete on the field, which is the most difficult, but there is no suitable team to win between Barcelona and United; it is up to the press and betting.
It is significant that the first game versus Manchester United will take place at Camp Nou on February 16, 2023, and the return leg will take place at Old Trafford on February 23.
