The Kremlin denies the existence of indirect negotiations between Washington and Moscow

News from Al-Madinah: Today, Monday, the Kremlin refuted reports in the Western media of covert or indirect conversations between Washington and Moscow.
Commenting on these news, Russian presidential spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, said today, Monday, that “the news and information received in the Western media regarding negotiations between the US President’s National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan and Russian President Yuri Oshkov is false. ”

Regarding this post, we have nothing to say.

Anglo -Saxon newspapers publish a lot of lying, so here you need to contact either the newspaper or the White House,” Peskov added, according to the Russian news website Sputnik.
Additionally, on Monday, American media reported that Jake Sullivan had recently met with Oshkov and the head of the Russian Security Council, Nikolai Patroshev, for exclusive talks.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Sullivan had “not publicised” contacts with top Russian officials in an effort to lessen the likelihood that the crisis in Ukraine would turn nuclear.
According to the newspaper’s reporting of US officials and allies, Sullivan recently had private conversations with his counterparts Nikolai Patroshev and Yuri Ushakov.
Regarding the report, the White House declined to comment.

The conversations that were overheard occurred at a period when Moscow accused the West of escalating the nuclear debate while the West accused Moscow of preparing to use a “dirty bomb.”

The Kremlin disputes that Moscow and Washington have held any indirect talks.
