Italy allows minors and patients to leave a migrant saving ship

The right-wing extremist government of Italy allowed minors and other immigrants with health issues to board rescue ships on Sunday, but it plans to return others on the ships of humanitarian NGOs, according to official sources.
The first to be removed, three minors and a child, from the Humaniti 1 ship in the port of Catania in an early hour, followed by three male minors, according to the media official at SOS Humaniti, Petra Christock, to Agence France -Presse.

Then male adults were permitted to exit the ship with medical documentation. According to the same reports, 144 people were taken off the ship in all, while 35 people remained inside.
They are incredibly depressed. Without knowing whether the authorities had made the decision to allow the ship to depart, she continued, “At the moment, we will stay here and wait.”

The Interior Minister, Matteo Breitidosi, had said earlier that those who do not “meet” the conditions will have to “leave the territorial waters. ”
She also requested permission for three ships carrying 900 immigrants to be in a toch, but to no effect.

These ships are the “Rayed Abaf” of the “Mishkin Livitim” organization, which raises the German flag, the “Ocean Viking” ship of the “SOS Mediterra” and the “Jio Parrents” ship of the “Doctors Without Borders” organization, which carry the Norwegian flag.
Out of the 572 persons that were rescued on board, the “Geo Parrents” ship indicated that the Italian authorities proceeded with it pending “assessment of poor cases.”
