Former US Vice President: We face the problem of credibility in dealing with the climate issue

Al Gore, a former vice president of the United States, said that the world has a credibility difficulty while addressing the climate issue.
“We have a credible problem today today, and we have the ability to address this problem,” Al Gore-Al-Jour- in his speech during the opening of the presidential part of the 27th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate (COP27), in Sharm El Sheikh- said.

Al-Jour thanked everyone who came and took part in the presidential portion of the 27th session of the Climate Conference, pointing out that the toxins currently in the air are man-made.
He cautioned against using fossil fuels, citing the issue of starvation in Africa, storms, floods, and heat waves that impact some nations, as well as the heat waves in China.

He emphasised the need to avoid burning fossil fuels and added that “every dollar invested in renewable energy offers three times more opportunity than investing in fossil fuels.”
He stressed the importance of working hard and giving the required funding at the conclusion of his address in order to solve the country’s climate catastrophe.
