Egypt’s Min. of Culture presents rich cultural, artistic program during COP27

CAIRO – 7 November 2022: The Ministry of Culture will present a rich cultural and artistic program during the activities of the COP27 Climate Conference currently held in Sharm El-Sheikh.
As part of the programme, special pavilions were built up for traditional and heritage crafts, which feature a variety of goods from several Egyptian governorates.

Along with live workshops for cultural industries, there will also be a conference that explores the approach to addressing climate change used by adaptive architectural pioneers Hassan Fathy and Ramses Wissa.
Additionally, modern Egyptian architects will exhibit their works that include creative responses to climate change.

To introduce visitors to Egypt’s history and culture, a variety of creative events and fashion exhibits featuring traditional Egyptian attire will also be staged.
The General Authority for Culture Palaces is keen, through its folklore troupes, to create a joyful atmosphere for the guests of the COP27, by presenting a variety of shows on the open theaters, streets, and the tourist walkway of Sharm El-Sheikh..
