Scientist and writer Jaya Vince is interested in how people interact with their planet’s environment.

She held important editorial positions at journals like Nature and New Scientist, and her articles have been published in publications including Scientific America, The Guardian, and The Times. Additionally, it creates and offers scientific radio and television programmes. She has travelled to more than 60 countries, lived in three different countries, and is currently based in London as part of her studies.

She created history in 2015 when adventures in anthroposin: a trip to the heart of the world that we made, her debut book, won the Royal Society Best Scientific Book for the year alone.
