Intense clashes in the round of 16 were the result of the draw for the Champions League, the oldest competition on the old continent.
After the group stage of the Champions League for the current season 2022-2023 came to a close, 16 clubs were formally assigned their spots in the draw, which took place this afternoon, Monday, in the Swiss city of Neon.
The following were the final round matches:
* German Leipzig against Manchester City.
* Liverpool vs. Real Madrid. * The Portuguese club Benfica vs. the Belgian club Bruges.
* Milan of Italy versus Tottenham.
* Napoli against. Eintracht Frankfurt of Germany
* Borussia Dortmund of Germany versus Chelsea.
* Italian Inter Milan takes on Portuguese Porto.
* Paris Saint -Germain against Bayern Munich.
The qualified teams were split into two groups: the owners of their groups and the owners of the description. Two teams from the same group can face off in the round of 16 while also avoiding the lottery and facing off against each other in this role.
The first leg matches will be held for the final price for 4 days, as the first batch of the first leg matches will be held from the round of 16 on February 14 and 15 in the new year, and the second batch in the following week on February 21 and 22.
As for the second leg, it closes the Champions League round of sixteen with matches on March 14 and 15 of 2023 after the first leg is played on March 7 and 8, 2023.
On June 10th of the following year, the current Champions League final will take place in the Olympic Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey, with 67,812 fans expected to attend.
Liverpool versus Real Madrid, and Paris versus Bayern Munich, resulting in a ferocious tie that determines the Champions League winner.
