China opposes the intervention of the Group of Seven in its internal policies

Zhao Legian, a spokeswoman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, stated his nation’s rejection to interfere in the domestic policies of the Group of Seven Industrial Countries today, Monday.
This was stated by Zhao in answer to a query from the Russian news agency “TASS” about the joint statement that the Group of Seven adopted at its most recent meeting in Munster, Germany.

“China’s position on issues related to Hong Kong, Shinjiang, Taiwan, Thabit, and Clear, and this alleged joint statement of the Group of Seven foreign ministers ignores China’s serious position and objective facts and interferes in China’s internal affairs,” said China in a strong protest against this statement.

Zhao urged the Group of Seven to abandon the mentality of the Cold War and adhere to a multilateral approach in international relations, and said, “We call on the Group of Seven countries to abandon the mentality of the Cold War, ideological bias, stop interfering in the internal policies of other countries, and stir regional conflicts,” noting that Beijing is Beijing The Group of Seven urged the creation of conducive conditions for international collaboration.
