Twitter: The blue brand is available to subscribers for $ 8 per month

As part of the platform verification system overhaul headed by the new owner Elon Musk, Twitter introduced a subscription service for $8 per month to receive the blue mark of the verified accounts.
Twitter said that users who “share now” will receive a blue verification mark next to their names, “exactly like celebrities, businesses, and politicians,” in an upgrade to the iOS operating system for Apple devices.

This development marks the end of the standard Twitter verification process, which was introduced in 2009 to shield politicians’ and celebrities’ identities.
Before this development, Twitter had about 423,000 accounts verified, many of which were for journalists from all over the world, the company was achieved regardless of the number of their followers.

Concerns have been expressed by experts on modifying the application verification mechanism, which, while not perfect, has allowed Twitter’s 238 million daily users to determine whether or not they actually obtained the accounts.
This occurs a day after the corporation started cutting costs through layoffs.
According to Joel Roth, director of the business’s safety and integrity department, half of the 7500 employees of the company have already been demobilised as a result of the application.
