The United States confirms its willingness to enter into a partnership with Iraq

According to the bilateral strategic framework agreement, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinkkin stated that the US is prepared to collaborate with the Iraqi administration.
In a statement posted on its website today/Sunday, the US State Department claimed that this occurred during a phone call that Blinkin had with Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid to congratulate him on becoming the country’s leader.

The US Secretary of State reaffirmed that Washington is prepared to work with Iraq to expand economic possibilities, increase energy independence in Iraq, and address the climate problem, highlighting the US commitment to continue aiding Iraq in its fight against the terrorist group “ISIS.”
The need to combat corruption in Iraq and cooperate to uphold the country’s security, stability, and sovereignty was also highlighted by the two parties.
