Salman Al-Faraj had to be replaced by French coach Herve Renard after suffering a shoulder injury in the 43rd minute of the Saudi encounter that allowed Al-Akhdar to advance (1-0) to Iceland.
Salman Al -Faraj appeared, as a result of his injury, while the SSC sports channel correspondent indicated that the player’s injury was strong, explaining that he cried a lot before he was transferred to the nearest hospital in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi.
It is interesting that the Saudi national team was placed in the third group by the FIFA draw, together with Argentina, Poland, and Mexico.
Injury to Salman Al-Faraj has raised concerns about the Saudi captain’s ability to compete in the World Cup.
