Russian media: Ukrainian missile causes damage to Kakhovka

Local officials were cited by Russian news agencies as saying that on Sunday, Ukraine used a missile to strike the Kakhovka Dam, which is located north of Jacon.
According to the “Russia Today” TV programme, the Ukrainian army bombed the dam with “American-made Himars” missiles.
She cited a statement released today by the Russian military stationed nearby that claimed the air defence systems intercepted these rounds and managed to destroy five of them while one of them struck a dam gate.

In order to set the stage for a humanitarian catastrophe in the area, the statement read: “The Ukrainian forces do not give up attempts to demolish the Kakhovka Station to produce hydroelectric electricity.
Added him: “This morning at 10 in the morning, the station selected six Himarm’s rocket missiles for attack. Sixth air defence unit struck one of the dam’s water drainage gates, causing some damage to it, while the other five air defence units were destroyed.”
Regarding these reports from Russia, Ukraine made no comments.
