Japan pledges to enhance its military capabilities

Fumio Kishida, the prime minister of Japan, promised to strengthen his nation’s marine and military prowess while emphasising the need to be ready to face “aggressive aggression.”

“Kishida lambasted the latest missile tests performed by North Korea, where one of the missiles flew over Japan for the first time since 2017, which infrequently led to the evacuation, during the event of the International Fleet review of Japan, according to the Channel News Ashia channel today.

Keeping all options on the table, Kishida said: “We will quicken the pace of protective debates about what is needed to safeguard our people in a world where the rules appear and use force or threat to ruin other countries’ peace and safety.

“It is not possible to wait to boost Japan’s marine capacity, including building new marine ships, bolstering our missile defence capability, and enhancing working conditions and remuneration connected to our military people,” he stated.
It took part in the operation of the 12 nations’ international fleet, which included Australia, India, and the United States, in Sajame Bay, south of Tokyo, the capital of Japan.

Japan promises to improve its military prowess.
