According to the French expert, the developed countries made a commitment to aid developing nations by nearly $ 100 billion annually until 2025, but they have not kept this promise and have accumulated a deficit of about $ 20 billion as a result. As a result, the developing nations no longer have faith in the developed nations.

For the hope of regaining that confidence, he continued, “We will already have to maintain this commitment and prepare for the post-2025, and” COP-27 must also make progress in the implementation of Article 2. 1c of the Paris Agreement, which seeks to harmonise all financial institutions’ flows towards carbon neutrality.
