A US B-1B strategic launcher will take part in the ongoing joint air drills with South Korea on Saturday, a Ministry of Defense official in Seoul told AFP, as a review of the force following the North Korean missile launchers.
Without providing any other information, the official said that “the B-1B launcher will participate in the afternoon exercise.”
Prior to this, US and South Korean military personnel engaged in joint military drills to cross the rivers.

The exercises, which were carried out in the city of Yogo employing a variety of crawling apparatus and military planes, involved about 1,000 soldiers.
Colonel Lee Yong Kyung, the South Korean battalion’s commander, stated that the action was taken as part of a “national defence manoeuvre.”
