According to regional Tanzanian media regarding the disaster, a plane owned by the Tanzanian firm “Bricegen Air” crashed into Lake Victoria as it approached Bokuba airport.
The source also stated that the aircraft failed to land at Tanzania Airport on Sunday, leading to the tragedy.
Although it is still unclear how many passengers were on board or if anyone perished.
Additionally, news articles published images of the aeroplane partially submerged in the lake and mentioned that rescue efforts had begun.
