4 elements of the Iranian police are killed in an accident

In the southeast of Iran’s Sistan Baluchistan Governorate, which has been the scene of violent unrest for weeks, four Iranian police officers were killed in a “accident,” according to the official media on Sunday.
According to the IRNA news agency, the police commander of the city of Bambur, Ali Reda Sayyad, “the accident that occurred at the traffic police station at the Iranian-Bambour Highway route resulted to the death of four police employees.”
He stated that “an investigation” was being conducted into the disaster.

It is situated at the border of Sistan, Balochistan, and Afghanistan and Pakistan. Recently, there have been a number of violent incidents there in which scores of security personnel have been slain.

The unrest in Sistan Balochistan comes as Iran has been the scene of demonstrations since September 16 in response to the murder of the young Muhsa Amini, 22, days after being detained by the Ethics Police in Tehran, and in response to its lack of adherence to the rigorous requirements of Iranian attire.

Dozens were eliminated on the sidelines of the protests in Iran, including members of the security forces, and hundreds of others were suspended in the movements that were raised by the slogans against the authorities, and what officials consider “riots”.
On September 30, violent events took place in Zahedan, the Sistan Balochistan Center, leaving scores dead, including members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

At the time, authorities claimed that an armed attack on security forces centres was to blame for the incidents. Local authorities said there was tension because of rumours that a female had been “raped” by a provincial police officer and that the security forces had fired on the Gets of Mosque, which is next to the Bazanan Mosque.
Against the backdrop of any links “in events, the Security Council in the province fired police officials in late October, including its commander in Zahedan.

Since then, the province has experienced regular protest marches, weekly tensions after Friday prayers, and numerous clashes between the Iranian security forces and armed groups over the years.

In an accident, 4 Iranian police officers are murdered.
