A train from North Korea was seen Friday crossing into Russia in satellite-picture data, marking the first traffic movement seen on the road since it opened some years ago.
The movement was observed on the only land connection between the two countries on Friday afternoon, according to the “38 North” website. Due of the pandemic, North Korea cut off its land connection to Russia in February 2020.

He continued, “For instance, a train appears to have performed the identical trip earlier this week. According to the Russian Customs Agency, 30 horsepower was shipped by train from Russia to North Korea, however a satellite did not record this cargo.
After nearly three years, the two nations finally reached an agreement in September to restore railway transportation across the border.
In September, in an unusual direct statement, North Korea denied selling weapons to Russia.

As part of a record-breaking number of launches this week, the South Korean army today said that North Korea has launched four short-range ballistic missiles toward the sea.
The UN Security Council has long prohibited North Korea for nuclear tests and the launch of ballistic missiles, and has tightened sanctions on Pyongyang over the years, in an attempt to cut funding for these programs..
