An amusing occurrence occurred when a TV reporter had his wireless hearing stolen by a “bustling” parrot as he was speaking in front of the camera.
The incident happened in Chile as the “Chilevisión Noticias” station’s correspondent was conducting a live broadcast about theft and security issues in the nation.
He was taken aback when a parrot interrupted the live broadcast and stood on his shoulder, but he finished his message regardless, assuming the bird did not bother him. He also knew that he had gestured for the photography team to assist him, but he did not realise that the parrot had also taken one of his “AirPods” headphones from his ear and fled with it in an unexpected scene.
The announcer finished his statement and expressed his shock at what had occurred. The audience could see that someone was making a valiant effort to apprehend the parrot, but to no effect.
